2019 Ford Ranger Brings New Features to Midsize Truck Segment
For truck buyers looking for an affordable, maneuverable and efficient midsize pickup, Ford is introducing the all-new 2019 Ford Ranger. Powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, with a high-strength steel frame and 10-speed automatic transmission, the new Ranger brings modern technology to the midsize truck segment.
As demand for midsize trucks continues to grow in the U.S., Ford is targeting the 2019 Ranger at a new generation of truck buyers, who want an adventurous vehicle that’s easy to live with in the city. The Ranger will be available with a number of driver-assist technologies to make driving easier both on- and off-road.
The 2019 Ford Ranger is available in multiple configurations and trim levels, including entry-level XL, mid-level XLT and high-level Lariat. Chrome, Sport, and FX Off-Road packages are available, as well as both SuperCab and SuperCrew cab configurations.
Ford made sure the Ranger can handle a variety of uses and conditions, and it was put through the same torture testing as the legendary F-150. Some rugged exterior features include a steel bumper with available integrated trailer hitch receiver for easy towing, and a tailgate that can handle both people and cargo.
The new Ranger includes standard Automatic Emergency Braking, and has available Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Reverse Sensing System and a class-exclusive Blind Spot Information System with trailer coverage. The available SYNC 3 system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, as well as Ford+Alexa personal assistant functionality.
