Ford Adds Waze Navigation to SYNC AppLink
Waze gives real-time traffic and navigation information, helping drivers avoid traffic jams and warning of potential hazards on the road ahead. Using SYNC AppLink, drivers can easily find efficient routes, locate cheaper fuel prices and report traffic accidents using the touch screen or by voice commands.
“Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for people to access the smartphone features, apps and services they care about most in the car, without having to pick up their device,” said Don Butler of Ford Motor Company. “With Waze, our customers get the benefits they’re accustomed to with the added luxury of experiencing them on a bigger screen.”
